What’s the best thing about being a writer?

Lisa Wingate By far the best thing about creating fictional people and sending them out into the world is that they eventually come home, bringing real people with them. Through books, I've met people from across the globe—people I never would have met otherwise. The best thing about being a writer is still the human element, the fact that it's a form of communication, and the way stories bring people together.
