Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Kim Izzo The idea for Seven Days in May came from family history. My great-grandfather was a passenger aboard the doomed ocean liner but somehow managed to survive several hours in the water before being rescued. I never met him but his daughter, my grandmother, told me his story and I was forever captivated. I have a fascination with historic tragedies and the Lusitania is right up there with the Titanic. Over 1,200 people lost their lives as the ship sank in 18 minutes.
