What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Kim Izzo This may seem obvious but "finish the book!" Many people start but give up because they get discouraged or lack confidence. You need to finish it. That first "vomit" draft is the toughest. Rewriting is much more fun. Promise! Another tip I always say is hire a professional editor to give your manuscript the once over. It's not cheap but it may make the difference between finding an agent and getting published or not.
