What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Mesu Andrews Keep writing! The only way to know if you're a REAL writer is if you experience that moment of discouragement so profound that you vow never to write again--but you just can't stop writing. When I got to the place where I finally gave up on publishing and simply wrote because I NEEDED to write...that's when my writing improved, and an editor noticed.
