Are you to think something sexual happened when Mr Sevier met Rill at the hotel or just that such an encounter would have been okay with Georgia Tann?

Lisa Wingate Rill says late in life that Mr. Sevier was a kind and good father to her, so his intentions toward Rill would have been in no way improper. Georgia Tann, though, did not care what his intentions were. Children were frequently adopted out to homes and adoptive parents who had not been properly vetted.

Hi Lisa, I truly enjoyed your book, though it was hard to read about the atrocities of children being abducted by the Tennessee Children's Home Society. Which sister was Avery's grandmother? It got a little confusing keeping the given names at birth and the changed names when abducted. I can't wait to read more of your books! Thank you! Lodina
