Hi Jeffrey. Yes it’s since the car accident. It’s why Bridget had to move in, why they had to move to a ground floor flat and why she could no longer be a nurse. I left it until the end because I didn’t want her to be defined by her disability but it does explain why she reacts in the way that she does and why she often feels powerless.
