My blocks tend not to last long. I have little games that my husband got me for Christmas which I use to spur my creativity. Or I read. Which one I use depends on what kind of block I have. For example, if I'm looking for a profession for a character, I use the games. If I'm searching the manuscript for "look" because I use it too much during dialogue scenes, I'll read how other authors deal with it.
