I love Starlighter, and it happens to be the book that introduced me to your work. How did you come up with the idea for this story, and the series? I am loving it so far! Emily in WA

Bryan Davis My daughter Amanda L. Davis came up with the basic idea of dragons kidnapping humans from another world, enslaving them, and treating them like cattle.

I added the idea of the Starlighter as a way to provide the slaves with a connection to their past.
