Right in the middle of reading Annie Thorne. Absolutely love it. There's such great humour in the writing! I've noticed it is not easy to find what C. J. stands for. Not even on Wikipedia! Is this supposed to remain a mystery? :) Cheers!

Hi C.J.! New fan here, just finished gobbling up The Chalk Man and The Hiding Place (on audio - competed them both inside a week), loved them both. Before I read anything else about you, I had definitely picked up on that Stephen King vibe, especially with the latter - I'm also a big fan of his work. My question is: Have you had an opportunity to meet Mr. King yet? Do you know what he thinks of your work?

I came across The Chalk Man when browsing my Kindle Store. I am notoriously picky about what I read, possibly because Stephen King is my favourite author and I have all his books - a hard act to follow. The synopsis for Chalk Man attracted me and as I started reading I immediately thought of Stephen King? I had no idea until afterwards of your infuences. Brilliant read, now starting Annie Thorne. Thank you!!
