Please tell me you are working on a new fiction book? I work at a library and came across one of your books this year. I have now read all your fiction books. You may be one of my favorite authors.

Mark Haskell Smith Wow! Thanks for that. I am just finishing a new nonfiction book, although it has fictional sections (it's complicated and weird), and as soon as that is figured out... I'm starting a new novel. It's about the grocery business!

I just finished Naked at Lunch. Honestly, one of the best books I've read in years. Maybe because I am so in touch with the subject matter. To wit: how do I get my wife to 1) read the book, and 2) possibly become my research assistant? Pressure is not the answer: we just retired in 2019 and she is an ex-commercial real estate lawyer. But I saw some similarities in your wife & mine. Most importantly, thank you!
