Amber asked Kathy Reichs:

I love your Temperance Brennan series. I really got into them while I was in college studying Criminology. One of my professors actually saw you at a conference and took a bunch of pictures of you speaking because he knew I loved your books. Sorry, fan girl moment. My questions is, what is your advice to someone who would like to get into the field for forensic anthropology, what path would you recommend?

Kathy Reichs Study the hard sciences not just general forensic science. If you want to be an anthropologist, you need to study physical anthropology specialized in bones. If you want to be a forensic chemist, get a degree in chemistry. study hard and go to graduate school.
