Do you know of any book club questions for The One? I am picking it for our May club meeting. It was an excellent and engaging read! Thank you!

Thanks for choosing my book!
How about these? I've just put them together for you.
1. What key themes do i explore in The One?
2.Would you take the test?
3. How do I address gender in the book?
4. Did you find the plot predictable? Were there any twists you didn't see coming?
5. How important is free will in the book?
6. Which characters did you like and who could you have done without?
7. Which characters acted rightly and which ones acted wrongly?
8. Should there be a sequel and why?

Hi John, I have read almost all of your books (Marriage act and the vacation left). love them all. I have always wondered, how do you come up with ideas for the 4 books that are in the same world(the one, the passengers, the minders and the marriage act). Are the stories your actual vision of the future world ? How you would imagine it ? or you have those ideas from somewhere else. Thanks!

Hi John, Re The One (I enjoyed it); Im curious if you wrote any other storylines that didn’t make it into your self or house published versions. (And why not?) I read in an earlier response you had thought to cut Jade’s story; did you have a replacement? Did you think about cross-religion/race/ethnic/culture pairings? Or would that potentially be too much to get mired down in, or too cliché, or…? Thanks.
