All sorts of ways. Sometimes I'll catch something in a book I'm reading, or a podcast I'm listening to, and think, 'That'd make a good story,' and then I file it away for later. Sometimes it's things I experience in my everyday life, or a snippet of a dream I had (which is where my latest project began). Inspiration is everywhere, you just have to pay attention!
