Hi! Thank you so much for reading BMD! That makes me so happy. I currently have ~20,000 words written but I'm stumped on the ending. I definitely still have plans to publish and I do work on it when I'm feeling inspired, but I'd rather take a while and publish a book I feel is good than rush and force out something that feels dialed-in. I'm sorry for the wait and I'll post lots of updates as it gets closer to completion!

Dear Nenia, I'm working on an academic study of Native American themed romantic novels, and am trying to establish where the modern version of the genre has its roots (beyond, say, Puritan captivity narratives and The Last of the Mohicans). The earliest novel of this type I can find is Janelle Taylor's Savage Ecstasy, and I've just read your review of the book in which you call it the OG of Native American romances?

I read The Tied Man a while back because I saw it in one of your shelves (forget which one) and I LOVED it, its gotta be one of my top reads, but now the problem is, I still havent been able to find anything similar to it. Do you have any more recs where the male lead is the "damsel in distress"? im not really sure how to describe it but hopefully you know what i mean
