I really loved your book A Light Beyond The Trenches!! I was delighted to read about the first guide dog school for battle blinded soldiers came to be!! It touched me personally because I am disabled and went to Canine Companions for Independence ( CCI) and went through training to receive two wonderful CCI dogs!! I just finished this book, and really enjoyed it. Learned much, as I didn't know anything about how pigeons were used during WWII. Will use this book in the future as a selection for a book club that I lead! Was looking forward to meeting you at the Dover library, but am sure that has been postponed because of the limitations on gatherings due to the coronavirus.? Roberta - Walnut Creek, OH
