Ari (Head in a Book)
Ari (Head in a Book) asked Nenia Campbell:

What are your tips for people trying to get a following as a Goodreads reviewer?

Nenia Campbell I think different things work for different people. For me, I try to be my authentic self-- awkward and doofy and a little pretentious. I'm here mainly to have a good time and not boost my numbers, and I genuinely enjoy interacting with my friends and followers on here. I just want to scream about books very loudly! I don't go on reviews I disagree with and shit on people's opinions and I don't participate in drama if I can help it, but I also don't believe in toxic positivity. There's a time and a place for negative opinions, and I think they can help people suss out your reading taste. So I guess the advice I have to give is be real, be honest, and be friendly!
