Who was the most complex character to write about?

Elle Kennedy Probably Brenna from The Risk. I wanted her to be strong, but not arrogant, and relatable, but also trying to convey the right tone about her internal feelings about her past. But lots of my characters have complex factors, whether it’s ADHD, self-doubt, trauma, or body image issues – and making sure those very real issues are portrayed properly can be very difficult. Especially when everyone’s experience is unique.

Hi, Elle! I discovered 'The Deal' and Off campus series a few months ago and didn't know I could enjoy New Adult books SO much. I was re-reading The score and I've a question, Why did Garrett punched Dean? Hannah said Garrett would never ever hurt someone he loves and I believe that. Garett doesn't like being violent, giving Dean a shiner seems very OOC, imo. Can't wait for your next work.
