One thing I fantasize about is Ink and Steel, Hell and Earth (actually the whole Promethean Age series) being turned into a mini-series on cable! What do you think of Hugh Dancy as the younger Earl of Salisbury, Elizabeth's elf, who imprisons Will Shakespeare for this own good amidst his scheming?

Off and on, I have been reading authors you say were those you found influential in your writing. I an now reading CJ Cherryh, and just finished Foreigner. Wow. I see what you mean about "influence." Is this the series you were thinking of when you said she was an influencer?

Did you feel awkward at times or ill-equipped to write about Mongol culture in the way you did for the Eternal Sky trilogy? I'm so glad you wrote Priya in Karen Memory the way you did, I can't remember the time I've read an Indian character like that, especially not in fantasy like that, and I suppose this question applies to cultures like that as well.
