I am suffering from Pen and Des deprivation. Sigh. So since I need to ask you a question, now in this period of your life, where you are hopefully enjoying the well deserved fruits of your labor, what sort of things have moved you to pick up a pen? (sounds better than go to the computer.)

Alas, no motivation at present. I've been dividing my attention this past year between home maintenance and renovation, Asian media, and far too much Spider Solitaire, which crept back onto my tablet after I'd bravely booted it off. Weirdly soothing, but very much what my mother would have dubbed "a sinful waste of time." The home maintenance projects, at least, must come to an end soon.

I recently finished listening to all 19 episodes of, "My Word as Vorkosigan," on the podcast Plot Trysts. I greatly enjoyed them. A big thank you to hosts Alex and Meg! And a wonderful idea that they included other published authors as guests to discuss your work. But my favorite episode was when they interviewed you. Have You listened to any/all of the podcast episodes? And if so, what did you take away from it?

Hello, thank you for your books, they are among my most re-read, which means most loved and important to me. I've been thinking a lot lately about Desdemona's fate in the afterlife. It seems she will dissolve into nothing, which seems like a sundering. I really want this to not be the case for her. Does the White God, who is perhaps part demon himself, take back His creatures whole, if not all the time, sometimes?
