Goodreads asked Leigh Russell:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Leigh Russell Probably the best cure for writer's block is a publisher's deadline. I've been very fortunate that my publisher likes to offer me multiple book deals, so as soon as one manuscript is written, I'm on to the next book without a break. Now that I'm writing two series, I'm delivering two manuscripts a year. It keeps me busy - and there's no time to worry about writer's block! For writers who don't have externally imposed deadlines, setting your own deadlines might help.
