Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Mike Michalowicz My inspiration for Profit First came to me from my own inability to make a profit. I thought I was flawed, and simply needed to grow my businesses faster to 'finally' become profitable. That is when I discovered the human behavioral theorem of Parkinson's Law.

With an understanding of how our mind works with money (or anything that is available to us in varying quanitities), I experimented with my own businesses. That was back in 2007... And it worked! Over the next 5 years I perfected it for myself and with others that I consulted. Then I wrote the book on how to do it.

I truly believe anyone who follows the simple Profit First process, will experience degrees of financial confidence and actual profit like they never have before.
