Is there anything that you find stimulating as far as new ideas for your writing?

My stories come from a mix of experience and fantasy, of things I'd like to either explore or explore more/deeper. They tend to come from idle thoughts in the shower or daydreams while I'm out for a walk, entire scenes playing out in my imagination and forcing me to scribble down something to capture the essence. Sometimes an image or a single line in a story will trigger something, and it'll sort of build in my subconscious until it's ready to be written down.
