Goodreads asked Elizabeth Weeks-Rowe:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Elizabeth Weeks-Rowe That is a great question. Sometimes I will open my computer and the words flow easily to the page. Other times, I open the computer, and the pause widens, and my thoughts struggle, and that is when I know the inspiration is not forthcoming. That is my signal to close the proverbial shop for a time. The writing has to be organic and natural, not forced. I fortunately have not had an extended period of writer's block.
