What is your opinion of the historical evidence that Richard III was negotiating Portuguese marriages for both himself and Elizabeth of York, and why did you not use it in your novels?

I think it is very likely but I did not use it because I was writing from Elizabeth's point of view and I think that she might not have been consulted at this stage. I focussed on her story which was complex and full enough.

Hi Mrs Gregory, I really loved all your Tudor books thus far and I am awaiting the Taming of the Queen eagerly. I was wondering if you were planning to write a book about the generation before Henry VIII, i.e. the war of the roses, Elizabeth and Henry VII's story, etc? I know I would really enjoy them! In your "Cousin's War" series, you have characters constantly put down Anne Neville, and in the "Kingmaker's Daughter" you make her unlikeable. Why do you hate Anne Neville? And why take the time to write a whole book on her when she should be written by someone who truly is intrigued by her and her life?
