Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

John K. Addis The Eaton was actually taken from a remarkably vivid nightmare I had a few years back. Unlike most dreams which fade quickly once logic returns upon waking, this dream had a few moments that left me scared out of my mind and made it impossible to go back to sleep. I jotted down three things I best remembered from the nightmare, and made sure all three of those "scenes" made it into the novel in one way or another.

The novel I'm currently writing, The Paper, is far more autobiographical, and I expect whole chapters to be taken directly from memory. With a twist, of course.
