First of all, thank you so much for let me know so many wonderfull books and different worlds! My question is: do you think about your ilustrations as another way to show the readers how you imagine what you're writing? As another way to communicate the image you have in your mind? Thanks!

Hi Cornelia, I'm a big fan of 'The Thief Lord' and the 'Inkheart' series - I am so excited to hear of a fourth book being released soon! I particularly love your descriptions of nature and insights into each of your characters. I was wondering whether you know that you'll be turning it into a series when you begin to write about a new idea, and if so, do you plan out what will happen in each book from the very start?
