Shannon Messenger When the books release, they come out everywhere in the US that sells new books, not just Barnes & Noble. But I have heard that occasionally, stores--including B&Ns--will have them out on shelves a couple of days before the release date, so I'm not sure if that's what you mean by "first." If so, that's an unofficial thing that varies store by store (some will stock early, some won't, there's no way to know which). And I hear there might be changes happening to prevent any stores from having the books early (but I'm not sure if that's totally possible). So basically, the books can be bought anywhere you'd like. No one gets them "first." :)
