What’s the best thing about being a writer?

Steph Nuss There are a lot of things I love about being a writer. Just being able to hang out with characters I love and tell their stories is so much fun, but I'd have to say the best thing about being a writer is the feedback from the readers. I love hearing what readers think of my book, even if they didn't like it. I'm a huge fan of honesty, and when I reader goes into detail about the things they loved and/or hated about my books, it brings a smile to my face knowing my words affected them in some way.
