Hi Kimberly: Congratulations on a gripping and page-turning novel. My question for you is what do you do when you read back your work to yourself and dislike the sound of it in your head? Has this happened to you?

Hi Gina, Do you mean something published or unpublished? If it's already published there's nothing you can do but grit your teeth and bear it--and it's bound to happen by the way. At least for me, if I put something--anything aside--and pick it up later I will inevitably want to make changes. But for things I'm still working on, if I don't like the sound, I change it. That's actually how I know I'm done--when I like the sound of it. Thanks for the question! Kim
