Benedict Jacka Alex has a couple of 'friends' he's not entirely aware of (or rather, he knows who they are, he's just not clear on their agenda). From the reviews I've read, it looks as though no-one else has guessed it either, but book 8 will give some big clues.

The magical community in your books seems to be all in England or Europe in general. Are there other mage establishments in, say, the United States? or Africa? If so, Why don't they interact more with the Brit-Mages? FYI, I've only read through 'Taken' so I may be in the dark about things revealed in your later books.

I've just finished Hidden, and with that ending (!) I want to go right to the next one, Veiled. I mostly get my books from the library (I couldn't afford my reading habit if I purchased all my books!) but Veiled seems to be the only book in the series not available through libraries. Is there some reason for this you know of? Thanks, I'm really enjoying the series.
