How do the adult Carpathians teach their children to hunt humans? Do they--like the large wild cats-- catch their prey and take their prey home to their young to...play with?

Carpathians, as a rule, don't hunt humans. They do hunt vampires however. And it is something the older, more experienced Carpathians would teach them. They wouldn't bring a vampire home though.

Why is it so rare for the women to meet up again as adults, especially the ones who were together as children? Take Flame and Jonquille for instance, Jonquille helped save Flame's life as a child, she's married to a fellow Ghostwalker but they didn't meet up in Lightning Game.

Hi! I love your Carpathian series and have read them all. Unfortunately, I can't remember where it is mentioned that Gary's lifemate is currently a child, as I've seen referenced in several "Ask the Author" questions. Which book is that in? I'm currently waiting for Dark Song to come out and have been rereading the series. Thanks.

If it's anything near like the "monster house" scene in the book Safe Harbor, I don't think I'd have the nerve to visit them in their home, even if they'd invited me.
