Hello, Mr. Montefiore: Sorry for this long intro:: I just published the sixth of a series, set in a village in Tuscany, that follows characters from WWII to 2000. I often felt the characters were inside my head and writing their stories. Now I can't get rid of them. So my question is: Do you still think a lot about the people in "One Night in Winter" and "Sashenka" and all the others? How does an author let go?

I will be listening to your book on the Romanovs. I have been informed that each chapter is preceded by a cast list and that this is extremely helpful. Also maps and family trees are to be found in the book. I must listen to the audiobook since I have poor vision. Is there any way I can obtain access to the lists, family trees and maps? I would appreciate your help. Audible speaks of no accompanying PDF. Thank you!
