How do you get inspired to write?

Lonny Lee This is tough to answer because there is no real logic in fantasy. Many of my thoughts and ideas are inspired by my dreams. When I wake up I remember my dreams and I try to interpret them. I also tend to write late at night or early morning when I am close to sleep mode. This makes my writing a pain to edit later, though!
I also read a lot of non-fiction like: science, religion, history, arts, etc, that also in conjunction with random daily events add to my inspiration.
I like fantasy because it is like a dream and it lends itself to say things that are both literal and figurative and allow the reader to figure out which meaning they prefer.
