Are you thinking about making a sequel to, "Diary of a Wildflower"? I'm an adult now (19) and just lived every moment with Lorelei Starr! Your country style books are the best! Will you continue to make books similar to Diary of a Wildflower for adults? This one took me so much deeper into the story and life of the person. I would still be happy if you wrote some more country setting YA also. Big fan, Anna Heidelberg

Thank you, Anna. I am so glad you liked Diary of a Wildflower. No, I don't think there will be a sequel. I did what I set out to do - gave my mom a happy ending. In real life it wasn't that happy. I know I am better with the "country style" books, as you put it. It's definitely true you have to write what you know. I am just beginning one now. The working title is Mariah's Acre. I will certainly announce it on Goodreads when it is finished. Again, thanks! Ruth

Are you planning to write a sequel to "You'll Like It Here, Everybody Does"? My sense in reading it (along with its actual content) felt very much to me like you were rushing to share so many crucial themes/concepts - critically important ones, especially for American YAs, that the book could have gone on another 300 pages, integrating, revealing, explaining, anticipating so much that was just barely touched on.
