What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Ruth Emmie Lang Write the story that makes you most excited, not what you think other people will want to read. Also, be specific! My favorite writing comes from authors who find beauty or interest in things most people overlook. Just think about how many atoms there are in an ordinary toothbrush. Every single thing on earth is more complicated than it appears, and prose has the power to give each one a story.
