I just finished writing 'Enter the Circle,' which is a prequel to Rise. The short story comes in at just under 2,000 words, but it packs a punch! I have submitted it to several short story fiction contests, so wish me luck. If the story doesn't place in any winning categories, then I will publish it on my personal blog and make it available for free to the public.
I am also beginning the exploratory stages to the follow up sequel of my debut novel. Book two so far is proving to be a challenge, as I'm pushing myself creatively in every way possible. Rise has received some critical acclaim, and there is a lot of pressure to deliver a follow up installment to the series that lives up to its predecessor.
