Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Rod Palmer Right from the headlines. Aside from the generally accepted idea that pastors of large churches should live like CEO's, there were a few eye-popping news stories about pastors behaving badly that compelled me to write A Pimp In The Pulpit. There was a financial scandal at one mega church, where the multimillionaire pastor refused to reimburse members even after endorsing, from the pulpit, what turned out to be a phony investment scheme. There was another renowned pastor accused of pulling out a gun in his board meeting, outraged that he was denied funding for a private jet. I was interested in how a pastor's ego could grow to such outrageous proportions.
