Hi Chris, I so wanted to get to the event at R.J. Julia's Bookstore in Madison for your book The Guest Room. However I was unable to attend. I am really hoping that you might be there again? - possibly with your new book The Sleep Walker -which sounds like an unbelievable story! A friend of mine did get to meet you in Texas and keeps on talking about how nice and interesting you were! Lucky Susan.... Thanks, Carol

Why thank you, Carol! So sorry you couldn't join us. The nearest to you I will be on tour for THE SLEEPWALKER is Manhattan and Warwick, RI. Manhattan is 1/24 and Warwick is 1/25. I will be posting the full tour soon on my web site and right here on Goodreads. Thanks again!

Why didn't we ask our grandparents before it was too late? My grandparents who escaped the death march never talked about it. The horrors were too vivid. Years after my grandfather died, I found out that he & all the villagers were locked in a church and the Turks burned it down. He was the only one who escaped. My Grandmother had 1 family portrait, how did she keep that on the death march? Why didn't we ask?

I started The Guest Room yesterday and I totally love it! I am half way done and I do not want to put it down! But I do not want it to end because then it will be done! I have read all your books and some are more liked than others but this one will be in my memory bank for a long long time as one of your very best. I love that you always write about very different situations. So what will your next book be!?!?

Thanks Chris for your response. I know I definitely loved your allusions to Greek mythology and popular culture that were present in The Flight Attendant. One quick question: Was your Big Bang Theory reference in The Flight Attendant(p, 317) a happy coincidence, given that, (in my opinion) the wonderfully talented Kaley Cuoco is slated to play Cassie Bowden?
