For me, writer's block usually comes in the form of "analysis paralysis." I'm never short on ideas, just confidence that people are going to like them. I deal with it by powering through, writing something even if I hate it, and sharing it with beta readers to get a fresh perspective on whether it's good or not. I think getting your writing "out there" in some form is the best way to cope with the fear of rejection.

At the end of “The Beast of Talesend” (Beaumont & Beasley book 1) you revealed the name of book 2 to be “The Stroke of Eleven”. However, that book actually ended up being published as book 3. So did you rearrange the order of the series from your original plan or did you specifically come up with “The Tomb of the Sea Witch” to be inserted between book 1 and “The Stroke of Eleven”? And what made you decide to do that?
