NEW YORK TIMES and USA TODAY BESTELLING AUTHOR ELIZABETH HOYT SIGNS THREE-BOOK DEAL

New York, NY—January 29, 2018

Forever, an imprint of Grand Central Publishing (GCP), has announced that they have acquired the World rights for a new three-book series by New York Times and USA Today bestseller Elizabeth Hoyt, author of the MAIDEN LANE romance series.

Book one of THE GREYCOURT SERIES will be published as a mass-market paperback original in December 2018, with simultaneous e-book and audio editions. The following novels will release in 2019 and 2020. Piatkus, a division of Hachette UK, will publish the UK editions. Additionally, this new acquisition marks the 27th novel Hoyt will publish with Forever.

THE GREYCOURT SERIES is a historical romance series about two families that are torn apart by a scandal that forever changes the course of their lives and legacies. In book one, the daughter of one of the disgraced families confronts the man who caused her brother’s ruin and the downfall of her family. She’s determined to have her revenge, but doesn’t count on falling for the enemy.

Amy Pierpont, Editor in Chief of Forever, acquired World rights from Robin Rue at Writers House.

I'm just chuffed to announce that my publisher and I have come to an agreement on a new three-book contract! I always feel like chortling when I stop and think that I make my living as a romance writer--it seems so very unlikely. Thank you to all of you who have bought and read and reviewed my books over the years. Without you I wouldn't be doing what I love most.

The Maiden Lane series is well and truly over but I've received some rather pointed protests about Joseph Tinbox and Peach, so if you've been waiting for their story I have good news. In 2018 I'll be serializing their story in my monthly newsletter as Once Upon a Missive. I do hope you enjoy it!

Whew! This has been a busy spring (I'm calling it spring even though there's still snow on the ground here in Minnesota.) I just finished the first draft of Duke of Desire (out October 17th) and I'm now working on Once Upon a Maiden Lane, an enovella out October 3rd.

Meanwhile, I just had a look at my calendar and realized that the RT Booklovers Convention is coming up soon. This year it's in Atlanta and will run from May 2-7. I'll be there at the big booksigning as well as at least one panel and two reader parties! I hope you'll join me.

I'm in San Diego this week for Romance Writers of America's annual conference which includes the Literacy Signing on Wednesday, July 13th from 5:30-7:30 at the Marriott Marquis & Marina. O frabjous day! I've (FINALLY, OMG!) turned in Duke of Pleasure (aka, The Book from Hell) and as a result have spent the last four days sleeping and gardening and watching Hulu with Youngest, which she got me to subscribe to in a fit of post-book-euphoria. My sister warned me that there is nothing good on Hulu, and by golly, she seems to be right. So far Youngest and I have watched Drunk History; Rich Bride, Poor Bride; and Hotel Hell.

Next up, I start work on Sarah St. John and Viscount d'Arque's novella.
