The Seed of Transformation
🌿 The Seed of Transformation 🌿
There’s a moment in everyone’s life when you can feel the shift—a subtle but powerful stirring that signals something greater is about to unfold. For me, it wasn’t a lightning-bolt revelation, but a quiet awareness, like a seed taking root in fertile soil. It was the beginning of a journey that would redefine how I saw myself, my health, and the world around me.
Looking back, I realize it wasn’t just one event that sparked this transformation, but a series of small, seemingly unrelated decisions that eventually blossomed into something far more profound. Each choice was like a brushstroke on the canvas of my life—a gentle, deliberate mark that, with time, painted the picture of a life well-lived, aligned with nature, health, and self-love.
This book is about those moments—the quiet shifts, the daily rituals, and the small acts of self-compassion that, over time, can turn an ordinary life into something magical. It’s about finding power in simplicity, knowing that the tiniest actions, when done with intention, can ripple out and create something extraordinary.
I didn’t arrive here overnight. My life—just like yours—has been a steady process of growth, discovery, and refinement. Along the way, I’ve picked up practices, ideas, and perspectives that have enriched my journey—some from books, others from mentors, friends, and family, and still more from the quiet whispers of nature itself.
Above all, I’ve learned to trust myself—to trust that the journey, no matter how slow or winding, is always moving me toward a better version of who I’m meant to be.
🌿✨ I invite you to take this journey with me. Order your copy today and begin planting your own seeds of transformation.

I Am the Master of My Fate, I Am the Captain of My Soul
I Am the Master of My Fate, I Am the Captain of My Soul
I love quotes and proverbs. I love that words can take on different meanings for different people at different times. Words shift based on context, experience, and personal growth. And that’s what I want to write about today—perception.
Perception: a way of regarding, understanding, or interpreting something; a mental impression. (Definition from Oxford Languages)
We all have slightly different perceptions, shaped by our experiences, beliefs, and mindset. The empowering truth is that we have the ability to change our perception.
Believing in the words “I am the master of my fate, I am the captain of my soul” comes with great responsibility. It begins when we take full responsibility for our own actions—starting with our thoughts. Who is in control of your thoughts if not you? When was the last time you paused to question this?
A mentor and good friend once told me, “You think too much.” My immediate reaction was offense. Think too much!? I thought to myself, Maybe some people don’t think enough! But those words didn’t leave me. Over time, they began to resonate differently. I realized that if this was how I was being perceived, maybe I wasn’t conveying my thoughts as clearly as I believed.
I still don’t agree that we can think too much, but I do believe we should strive to take control of our thoughts—understanding where they originate and guiding them toward a life of ease rather than chaos.
The clear understanding that perception is relative is incredibly empowering. You can change an entire situation by changing your perception.
In my first book, An Introduction to the Universal Laws: A Magical Journey, I talk about shifting from “I have to” to “I get to.”
What we see as a burden in our lives may be a dream fulfilled for someone else. Instead of “I have to go to work today,” try “I get to go to work today.” Instead of “I have to clean the house today,” try “I get to clean the house today.” Put some meaning behind it—“I have a job I get to go to,” “I have a space I get to clean and care about.” It’s a simple shift, but one that can transform the way you see your life.
Walking this journey is a privilege we don’t always fully understand. If we could all see it that way—choosing to better ourselves, looking for and sharing the positives—just imagine what a beautiful world we could create. ✨

Daydreaming: A Powerful Gift of Self-Love
Daydreaming is often dismissed as an idle pastime, but I have come to understand it as an act of deep self-love. It is in these quiet, imaginative moments that the seeds of our future are planted. Some dreams need constant watering—attention, effort, belief—while others, once rooted, take on a life of their own, growing and thriving in ways we never expected.
One of my most persistent and powerful dreams has been to travel frequently and fearlessly. But beyond that, my deeper intention has been to teach my children to explore the world without fear. Somewhere along the way in my small-town upbringing, I internalized an invisible boundary—a quiet belief that I wasn’t ready for the big, wide world. I never found the gentle encouragement I needed to push past that hesitation, so I built it myself.
I built a life where travel wasn’t just an indulgence—it was a necessity for growth and understanding. Over the past twenty years, we have taken many family trips, each one reinforcing this lesson in its own way. A dear friend once told me to budget for travel as if it were as essential as food and shelter, and I took that to heart. Some years we embarked on grand adventures; others, we stayed local and explored what was within reach. This year, I’m starting local again—and who knows what the future holds? I remain open.
Three Trips That Changed Everything
Among all of our adventures, three trips stand out in my heart as defining moments in our journey.
1. Disney: A Defiant Act of Healing
Our first trip to Disney was an act of defiance against grief. That year, I lost my dad, and the pain was unlike anything I had ever experienced. In the face of that loss, I ran—1,500 miles away. I ran from the void he left behind, from the weight of his absence in my family. I ran away from my mother and my siblings. I left them with the void of my father and the absence of my small family during Christmas. I am not proud of that. Looking back, I was focused on the hurt and I really couldn’t see that my presence would matter to others. They had each other, and I was focused on myself and my small family. I was just beginning to understand the power of shifting my awareness, of choosing to focus on the positive. My solution? Take my small family to the happiest place on Earth.
I don’t regret it. That trip was a significant push past my travel fears, a new experience to build upon. But I also learned that travel, like life, does not always go as planned. I allowed for just one day at Disney, and my anxiety got the best of me. Long lines, broken rides, spilled ice cream, and even a migraine that left me collapsed on the floor of a public restroom—it was a day full of challenges. Yet even in that chaos, I see now that the experience was part of the journey. Lessons learned. Foundations built. The importance of alignment planted a seed.
2. Fifteen Days in Florida: The Art of Letting Go
The next trip that stands out was our fifteen-day adventure through Florida in February 2016. This was everything I had hoped for in a close family vacation—fifteen days of living out of a truck and a motel room, planning each day as it came. No rigid itinerary, no overthinking—just going where the day led us. It was the first time I truly let go and trusted the journey. That trip taught me that structure has its place, but there is magic in surrendering to the moment and believing dreams come true, big and small.
3. 2019: A Cross-Country Road Trip, Perfect Timing
This trip was the most powerful and transformative one yet. I had been dreaming of a cross-country road trip for over a decade, but I always held back. The timing never felt right. The budget never seemed to stretch far enough. I feared taking too much from our family’s resources or disrupting future plans—not to mention trying to schedule the time away from work.
But in 2019, the tug was undeniable. It was now or never. My children were growing up. Would we ever be able to pull this off again? This year was not our best year. Loss and sickness had a great impact over our home and happiness. 2019 was full of challenges. Logic would tell me this definitely was not a year for a family vacation. But the pull was strong—that now or never feeling just wouldn’t go away. And my family needed healing. For me, there is no better answer to healing of all kinds than to seek time in nature. I didn’t know it at the time, but looking back, I can see the divine timing of it all.
That summer, I secured nearly three weeks off from work, and that wasn’t easy to do. Defiance at work was not my usual way, but this one required me to stand my ground and compromises were made. We packed up our pickup truck with camping supplies and bicycles. We spent 20 of 25 days living out of that truck, crossing vast landscapes, soaking in the openness and beauty of this country. The experience was overwhelming in the best way. The growth and healing that took place cannot quite be put into words. It was a treasure of a trip, and I can’t wait to get back out there and build upon it.
The Future: Remaining Open
I don’t know where our next big adventure will take us, but I do know this: travel, in any form, is an act of expansion. Whether it’s a local road trip or a cross-country journey, every experience has a way of reshaping who we are.
The lesson in all of this? Give yourself the time and space to daydream. Let those visions take root. Some will require consistent care, others will flourish naturally. Either way, the act of dreaming is an act of self-love—and one of the most powerful gifts you can give yourself.
This year, I begin again, staying open to the possibilities.

A New Kind of Connection
Some chapters in life close suddenly, leaving us standing in their wake, unsure of how to move forward and deeply contemplating where we come from. When my mother passed away, it was one of those moments.
"When my mother passed, it was a complete surprise. There was no warning, no time to prepare, and yet she left this world so peacefully. It felt as though she simply slipped away, carrying with her the same quiet grace she had brought to many moments in life. The shock of her passing was immense, but what followed was something I never expected.
In the months leading up to her passing, I had felt a new closeness with her—something deep and transformative. It was as if we were standing on the edge of the best relationship we’d ever had, ready to step into it together. When she left, I thought that connection might disappear with her physical body. But something amazing happened.
That feeling of closeness didn’t leave me. Instead, it grew in a way I never could have imagined. I feel her presence every day. It’s as though she’s guiding me—not in the same way she did when she was here, but in a different and profoundly meaningful way. Perhaps she had always been guiding me this way, and now I simply feel it more clearly."
— An excerpt from my new book, Lovin’ Nature Through Awareness and Reflection: A Journey of Self-Love and the Magic That Unfolds
This book is a continuation of my story, a deeper dive into my personal experiences with the Universal Laws and the powerful ways they have shaped my life. I invite you to step into this journey with me—to see the lessons life is always offering, to cultivate a sense of wonder, and to embrace the unfolding. There is no rush to “figure it all out,” no finish line to reach—only the continuous evolution of who we are meant to be.
Plant the seeds of your dreams with intention, nurture them with love and patience, and watch as they grow in ways you never could have imagined. Find power in simplicity. The smallest shifts—thoughts, habits, awareness—create ripples that reach farther than we can ever truly see.
This moment in my life is more than just moving forward—it’s building upon everything that has come before. I am walking a new path, one that feels aligned and full of possibility. And I’m walking taller, stronger—for her and for everyone who has influenced me along the way. The gestures need not be grand to be impactful. The smallest nudges, the quietest encouragements—these are the things that shape us.
This book is my story. And as you read, I hope you recognize pieces of your own.

Walking in Alignment: A Journey of Growth, Gratitude & Universal Laws
Why do I write?
This is a question I’ve been asked many times, and the answer continues to evolve. Writing, for me, is an extension of my experiences, my heart, and my soul. It’s a way to reflect, process, and share the lessons that have shaped me. But beyond that, writing is a way to connect—to share what I’ve learned in hopes that someone else will find value in it, just as I have found value in the wisdom of others.
I've always admired those who openly share knowledge, especially when their intent is to help others grow. We all learn differently, and we all have something to teach. Life presents lessons in unique ways, shaped by our own experiences, but the beauty of sharing is that we can expand our understanding through each other.
Some of my greatest influences, like Napoleon Hill and Bob Proctor, devoted their lives to studying the habits of successful people, uncovering patterns, and teaching these principles to others. What I’ve learned from them is this: we each take those lessons and apply them in our own way, shaping our unique journey.
For over a decade, I felt the pull to share my experiences, but I questioned whether my voice mattered. Would anyone care about what I had to say? Would my journey resonate with others? I see now that the answer is yes. The Law of Attraction tells us that like energy attracts like energy, and I trust that the people who are meant to receive my message will find it.
A Year of Transformation: When the Universe Steps In
As I reflect on this past year, I am in awe of the changes that have unfolded. Some years feel stagnant, others bring deep transformation, and 2024 has been a year of growth, alignment, and gratitude.
A year ago, I found myself searching for something more. I had worked at the same company for 26 years, climbing from production to management, pouring my energy into the work. There were positives, accomplishments I was proud of—but at the end of each day, I felt drained. The exhaustion grew, the need for time to recover became greater, and yet, that time was harder to find.
I knew I needed a shift, but I wasn’t sure how to make it happen. And then, the Universe made the move for me.
In February, with little warning, I lost my job. A company transition, new ownership, and suddenly, I was no longer part of their future. At first, it was unsettling. The unknown always is. But instead of reacting in fear, I allowed myself to pause.
And within days, a deep sense of calm took over.
I could see it clearly—this was not a loss. This was an opportunity.
That was the moment my journey truly opened up.
The Law of Relativity: Shifting Perspective, Embracing Change
The Law of Relativity teaches us that challenges are not absolute; they are relative to how we perceive them. What seems like devastation in one moment might later be revealed as the best thing that ever happened.
I’ve witnessed this firsthand. Because just a month after I lost my job, my son faced a life-threatening health challenge. And I was able to be right there with him—no struggle to ask for time off, no balancing act of work stress and personal crisis.
It was one of the hardest things we’ve ever faced, but we held on to hope, belief, and gratitude. His prognosis wasn’t great, but it wasn’t hopeless. We focused on what we could do, and he fought with everything he had. And today, he is alive, thriving, and healthier than ever.
This experience reaffirmed everything I had been learning—the power of mindset, energy, and trust in the unfolding.
And as if by divine timing, a new opportunity appeared when I was ready.
Stepping Into Inspired Action
Cynthia Unger
Through all of this, writing became more than just something I enjoyed—it became a calling.
So here I am, stepping into alignment, sharing my voice, and trusting that the right people will find this message. I’ve come to understand that the Universal Laws are always at work, whether we realize it or not.
Most people have heard of the Law of Attraction, but that’s just one piece of something much bigger. Once I began studying all of the Universal Laws, life started flowing differently. I felt more aware, empowered, and intentional in shaping my reality.
That’s why I wrote "An Introduction to the Universal Laws: A Magical Journey"—not to tell people how to live, but to offer a simple, clear path to understanding the energy that influences our lives.
If this message resonates with you, I invite you to read the book. And if you’ve already read it, I would love to hear your thoughts.
✨ Who is this book for? ✨
📖 Anyone seeking a smoother, more fulfilling life path
💫 Those who have heard of the Law of Attraction and want to know more
👨👩👧 Parents looking for a simple, impactful way to introduce young adults to these principles
📚 Self-improvement seekers—whether you're just starting or already on this path
🤝 People who understand these concepts and want to share knowledge & experiences
This is just the beginning. I am fully aligned with what I write, and as awareness grows, the Law of Attraction will take hold. 🌎✨
Let’s Lift Each Other Up
I know what it feels like to be stuck. To feel like you’re doing all the right things but still not breaking through. To wonder if things will ever truly change.
But change comes when we shift our perspective.
We are all on a journey. We all have wisdom to share, stories to tell, lessons to reflect on. And I would love to hear yours.
💬 Have you experienced the Law of Attraction at work in your life?
💬 Proud of a moment you’ve overcome?
💬 An unexpected lesson that propelled you forward?
Let’s get the conversation started. We are in this together. Let’s keep lifting each other up. ❤️✨
Thank you for reading, for your support, and for being part of this journey. Much love to you all.

💙 Cynthia

Meditation – A Powerful Tool
I believe in the power of meditation. For years, I’ve turned to it to calm my mind, reset my energy, and create space for clarity, even though I still don’t fully understand how it works. But one thing is certain—it does work. And the busier life feels, the more I recognize the need to pause, breathe, and allow the magic to happen.
For many people, the idea of quieting the mind feels overwhelming—especially for those who need it most. If that’s you, I encourage you to start anyway. Meditation isn’t about achieving perfect stillness or stopping all thoughts. It’s about giving yourself the time and space to simply be.
Begin with just five minutes. No pressure, no expectations—just sit and let your thoughts flow. Observe them, rather than trying to control them. Ask yourself:
🌀 Is this thought important?
🌊 Is it something I can change?
🍃 Is it something beyond my control?
Let them sort themselves out. Over time, you may start to gently push thoughts aside, even for just a few moments. You don’t have to force silence—simply redirect your focus. Maybe it’s your breath, a soft background sound, or even the subtle rhythm of your own heartbeat.
Your mind will wander. That’s okay. Each time it does, simply guide yourself back to your focus point. No frustration, no judgment—just practice.
Like anything worthwhile, meditation takes time and patience. But trust me, it’s worth it. Soon, your mind will begin to crave this stillness. It becomes a sacred space, a place of renewal, a tool that helps you navigate life’s chaos with more ease and clarity.
💬 Is meditation a part of your life? I’d love to hear your experience—how did you get started, and where do you fit it into your day? Let’s share and inspire each other. 💙

The Energy We Carry Matters
The energy we carry is powerful. It follows us into every space we enter, shaping our experiences and influencing those around us. Whether we realize it or not, our energy sets the tone for interactions, for conversations, and even for the silent moments in between. That’s why it’s so important to check in with ourselves—to become intentional about the energy we bring into the world.
This ties deeply into the Law of Relativity—the idea that challenges and circumstances are not absolute but rather shaped by how we perceive them. Life will always present contrast. But contrast is not punishment; it’s perspective. Grief is only possible because of love. Struggles reveal strength. Hard times show us just how deeply we can feel. It’s not always easy, and some moments ask us to dig deeper than others, but no matter what, there is always goodness to be found.
When we encounter others who are struggling, it can feel natural to meet them in their pain, but there is another way. Instead of sinking into the darkness, we can choose to be a steady light. Empathy and sympathy go hand in hand, but true support means bringing high-flowing energy—the kind that lifts, reassures, and reminds people that they are not alone. That doesn’t mean ignoring pain or forcing positivity, but rather holding space for healing, hope, and possibility.
We are always influencing the world around us. Every thought, every word, every interaction—small shifts in perspective can create ripples that reach far beyond what we can see. Let’s be intentional with our energy. Let’s build each other up. Let’s keep the love flowing. ❤️
What are some ways you check in with yourself and shift your energy when needed? I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments!

The Law of Relativity: A Shift in Perspective
🌿 The Law of Relativity: A Shift in Perspective 🌿
One year ago, I lost my job of more than 26 years. In that moment, I had a choice:
💭 See it as a loss—a challenge too big to face.
💡 See it as a shift—an opening to new possibilities.
The Law of Relativity teaches us that challenges are not absolute; they are relative to our perception. What may feel like devastation in one moment can later be revealed as a blessing in disguise. The way we choose to see and respond to change determines our growth.
I remain open to what this shift has created. I am proud of my journey. And now? Now, I feel more aligned each day, walking a path that feels authentic and purposeful. I have chosen to embrace curiosity, learning, and trust, knowing that life unfolds in its own divine timing.
The magic I have witnessed this past year has deepened my trust in the Universe. I’ve come to understand that when we shift our belief system to align with the outcomes we desire, life responds in ways we never imagined.
✨ This is real, friends. And it sure does feel like magic. ✨
🔹 Have you ever faced a challenge that turned out to be a blessing in disguise?
🔹 How has a shift in perspective helped you grow?
I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments! Let’s share and learn from each other. 💬💖
