Django Wexler graduated from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh with degrees in creative writing and computer science, and worked for the university in artificial intelligence research. Eventually he migrated to Microsoft in Seattle, where he now lives with two cats and a teetering mountain of books. When not planning Shadow Campaigns, he wrangles computers, paints tiny soldiers, and plays games of all sorts.

Django Wexler answered Cass's question: I really enjoyed How to Become a Dark Lord, but felt the main character was over-the-top sexual. It took away some of the joy of the book for me. Yes, women can be badasses and yes, they can do anything, but I don't know many women (if any) who are like this character. Can you please elaborate on why you made this choice for this character? Part of the point of the story is that at the beginning, having despaired of actually accomplishing her goal (or anything else), hedonism is all Davi has left -- without hope OR fear of anything different ever happening, all you've got is the basic p See Full Answer
