I have always wanted to write a story about magic, and in a burst of creativity I wrote the first chapter of Demons, almost exactly as it is in the book now. Reading that back, I felt a connection to the characters and continued to build the world from there. It is all thanks to Jessica and Damien's initial confrontation that started it all.
