Goodreads asked Rachael Bell-Irving:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Rachael Bell-Irving Often times I will try and tackle a different part of the project. Usually I get stuck in transitions, when I am trying to write the bridge between two major plot points. So if I am stuck, I will instead focus on writing a different part of the book, brainstorming other plot points, character developments arcs, or start a completely new story entirely. I also find changing my location can be helpful. Often times you just need to get something on the page to get the wheels turning again, and that's the hardest part.
