Your new book The Book Spy looks wonderful. I love reading both fiction & nonfiction about WW2. May I ask what inspires you to write about this time period? Do you read other authors such as Kate Quinn who write similar books? Also, will an audiobook be released at the same time as the print copy? I ask because I have vision problems and I can't always find a large print book. Thank You. Ila in Maine

Hello, Ila! Thank you for your note! I love historical fiction, especially tales set in WWII. THE BOOK SPY was inspired by real-life librarians who were recruited by the Office of Strategic Services (OSS), the WWII predecessor to the CIA. Yes, I enjoy reading many historical fiction writers who write tales in this time period. Also, I'm delighted to share that the audiobook will be released on January 31, 2023, a week after the print release. Many thanks for taking time to write. I'm excited for you to listen to the story!

I really loved your book A Light Beyond The Trenches!! I was delighted to read about the first guide dog school for battle blinded soldiers came to be!! It touched me personally because I am disabled and went to Canine Companions for Independence ( CCI) and went through training to receive two wonderful CCI dogs!!
