Goodreads asked Lorii Myers:

What’s the best thing about being a writer?

Lorii Myers
The best thing about being a writer is receiving feedback: ratings, reviews, an email or two.

I particularly enjoy seeing quotes from my books circulating the globe and being used in positive and useful ways.

The truth is... very few writers are in this for the money. It is unrealistic to write one, or even ten books, and expect to hit a home-run - $$. We want to share our thoughts and ideas.

SO, if you have a favourite writer... Let them know! Make their day! Make their year!

I remember working on my second book and feeling quite frazzled one day to the point that I questioned whether to keep going or not... and let me say I don't give up easily.

That night I received an incredible email from a lady who had read my first book and loved it... She signed off by saying, "Don't ever stop writing!"

Talk about timely!.... Thanks again Re!
