Ayla
Ayla asked Suzanne Nelson:

Hello! I'm Ayla, and I read Macarons At Midnight, I really loved the book, and I thought it was really really good, also I wanted to ask, what made you decide to end the book on that? Also, what gave you the idea to read the book?

Suzanne Nelson Dear Ayla, I'm so glad you loved Macarons at Midnight so much! For the ending, I wanted it to be romantic and to take place at midnight, which was how I started formulating the final scenes. My ideas for books come from many different places--experiences I had as a teen; experiences friends and family may have had; even dreams I have! For Macarons, I wanted to write a story where a boy and girl connect in one magical moment but then spend the rest of the book discovering, through fun mistaken identity and misadventures, whether they're truly meant for each other or not. I'm hard at work on a fifth foodie book for the series as well, so check out my Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter feeds for updates on my latest projects and fun giveaways, etc. In the meantime, carpe diem and read on! All the best, Suzanne
