Special Guest, Author Winsome Campbell-Green

I'd like to welcome back Winsome Campbell-Green, an author friend who has a new book out.

Winsome Campbell-Green Winsome has been described by many as a prolific author in the field of self-development, who has applied her uplifting principles to the art of relationships.

Luckily for us, she had time to share in this Q & A "exclusive" interview with me, just for all of you.

She is the author of 8 popular self-improvement books. The most recent, Better Than Games: The Rulebook For Singles Dating And Searching For Love, was released March 7, 2014 on Apple, CreateSpace, Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and Google Play.

First of all, I'd like to say, congratulations on being the author of 8 fabulous books!

Q: What inspired you to write this new book?
A: I was inspired to write this book as a reminder to singles that you do not have to tolerate the ‘games’ involved in dating, and you are worthy of love that will bring you peace, clarity and happiness.

Q: What would you say to someone who is single but wanting a relationship and having a rough time finding someone? What is their best course of action?
A: You must become what you want to attract. To attract you must ‘become’. It is important to ‘feel good’ about love. A person who lacks ‘self-love’, self-compassion, self-acceptance will not find what they think is missing in a relationship. Relationships are about building a ‘connection’ and you must bring an incredible state of joy, peace and a feeling of fulfillment. Start cultivating love and happiness with everything and everyone you meet. Light attracts light. You will soon find people coming across your path who will want to relate to you in a closer way. To read more about self-love, you can also read my book, The Secret Rules Of Self-Love: How To Love Yourself, Overcome The Loneliness Of Being Single, And Achieve Happiness.

Q: What is the one thing that causes most singles to block love from their life?
A: In dating and relationships, get the ego out of the way. Love is not self-serving, but self-less. When you are complete within you look for ways to make the other person’s life as happy as can be. Always be in state of kindness and doing loving things. It always comes down to choosing between being kind and being self-fish. Keep doing deliberate and kind things always.

Q: What is one mistake you see many singles make in regards to dating/relationships?
A: Most singles can sometimes feel incomplete if they don’t have a relationship. The key is to let go and allow God to take control. Your happiness is not dependent on having someone in your life. Always evaluate why you need someone in your life.

Q: In your book, Better Than Games: The Rulebook For Singles Dating And Searching For Love, you talk about the importance of men and women respecting the traditional rules for dating/courting in order to avoid mistakes. What would you say is a critical rule one must remember for a first date?
A: Speak less about you and show a genuine interest in getting to know the person you are with. It does not matter how interesting you think you are. Treat the person you are with as if they are the most important person in the room. Appreciate them for what they are and ask nothing in return.

Q: What would you recommend a person should do when it’s time to let go of a bad relationship and move on?
A: Trusting your instinct is the best way to go. When it’s time to let go, your heart will tell you. You deserve to explore those feelings of why you are feeling the way you do. I specifically discuss this issue in my new book, Better Than Games.

Q: In your own experience, what is the one essential element that is necessary for a successful relationship?
A: I believe in having a strong and unshakable friendship first. Love built on strong friendship will endure during challenging times.

Q: Where can readers buy your book, Better Than Games and what is the cost?
A: Go to any bookseller's site listed below to get your copy of Better Than Games!
Better Than Games The Rulebook For Singles Dating and Searching For Love by Winsome Campbell-Green

Apple,(eBook)-$2.99
Kindle, (eBook)-$2.99

Q: Would you provide a sample of your book?
A: Absolutely! You can follow this link to view a sample of the first chapter on Amazon. http://www.amazon.com/BETTER-THAN-GAM... ... I hope you will enjoy it and it brings clarity to your life.

Q: Will you tell us your final top reminders for singles searching for love?
A: *You are not your scars.
*You are stronger than you think.
*Your present situation is not your final destination.
*Never allow any negative experience from the past take hold on you.
*Choose happiness.
*Recognize yourself as an individualized expression of God and see yourself, then, as already complete, and help other people to feel the same way.
*Treasure your own magnificence and value yourself
*People are only in your life for a reason. If they leave, let them go. Find the lessons and continue on your journey.
*Never settle for less than your best. If something is for you, you will never have to feel as if you are sacrificing your dignity for it.
*Be still. Avoid drama and confusion at all times. Always include prayer in your relationships and have faith in the process of life. Just breathe easy, the stress is not about you, all is well and you can handle anything!

Thank you for sharing not only your new book with us, but your own fantastic advice, based on experience.

ZIP TIES and LIES Coming SOON!

TRUE CRIME

NEW BOOK COMING VERY SOON!

Zip Ties and Lies is the story of the Anderson/DiMaggio coldhearted, coldblooded murder case that started in San Diego, California and ended in the Idaho wilderness, leaving three people and a dog, dead.

Who REALLY killed the Anderson's?

Who's behind the cover up?

Was Jim DiMaggio innocent of murder, arson and kidnapping?

As a kidnapped survivor, I became interested in this case immediately. From everything I've seen and read, Hannah Anderson has not acted like a kidnap "victim" in ANY sense of the word.

More information to follow soon on the actual release date for Zip Ties and Lies.

Go to my website to find my own personal story of kidnapping, Bitter Memories: A Memoir of Heartache & Survival, and the sequels: Drowning In Memories, Cutter's Revenge, Trophy Murders, and From The Heart: A Collection of Poems and Stories.

I will also have the cover art for Zip Ties and Lies added to the website in a day or two.

FYI: I am no longer associated with Taylor Street Publishing in any way whatsoever. They also do not have permission to publish any of my books — past, present or future.

HANNAH ANDERSON — Victim or Not? — Part Seven

Written by the author who researched for eight and a half months to get the "facts" on this case, Zip Ties and Lies is the true story — as we know it to be — about the alleged kidnapping of Hannah Anderson and the brutal murders of her mother and brother, Christina and Ethan Anderson, and Cali their dog, and the "firing squad" murder of Jim DiMaggio.

Who REALLY killed the Andersons?

Who’s behind the cover up? That is the question!

A 9-1-1 call to the San Diego police department on August 4, 2013 reporting a two-story home on fire in Boulevard, California is only the beginning of many harrowing events to follow.

After a woman’s body and the body of a dog is found inside a detached garage, murdered, a bloody crowbar next to the woman’s body, the dog shot in the head, the homeowner and two kids are reported missing.

Assuming homeowner, James Lee DiMaggio killed the children’s mother, Christina Anderson—the woman’s body discovered in the garage—rigging his home to catch on fire, he then kidnapped Anderson’s two children, Hannah age 16 and Ethan age 8.

The following day the remains of a child, burned beyond recognition, is found inside DiMaggio’s burned-to-the-ground home. And even this is only the beginning.

After a week-long manhunt, DiMaggio, maybe an innocent man, based on information from San Diego’s sheriff Bill Gore, is then shot down by the FBI in what appears to be actions of a firing squad.

The public has doubts on the validity of what is being told. Stories continue to morph, and more doubts arise. More and more lies brings the question of Hannah and Brett Anderson’s innocence into doubt—at least for the public.

But the story doesn't end here.
This story is only beginning…

HOT NEW BOOK! Zip Ties and Lies, The Anderson/DiMaggio Case: Coldhearted - Coldblooded

HOT NEW BOOK!

Zip Ties and Lies, The Anderson/DiMaggio Case Coldhearted - Coldblooded by Sue Julsen Zip Ties and Lies explores the coldhearted "facts" -- as we know them to be -- of the brutal murders of Tina and Ethan Anderson, police cover ups and screw ups, and the coldblooded "firing squad" murder of Jim DiMaggio, maybe an innocent man, shot down by FBI sharp shooters.

Before briefly getting into some of the details of this case, I want to share one of the 5-star reviews from amazon.com about Zip Ties and Lies:
"It was nice to read new information about the people surrounding this case and theories that weren't discussed earlier. There were some "WOW" moments that left me wondering "How in the world were you able to get that information?" I look forward to reading more of your books in the future! Thank you for taking this one on!!!"

The Anderson/DiMaggio tragedy actually started on August 3, 2013, but it wasn't until after a 9-1-1 call came in to the San Diego police department on August 4th, reporting a two-story home on fire in the rural area of Boulevard, California, that partial information was broadcast to the public.

However, the devastating fire was only the start of many harrowing events yet to be discovered.

After a woman’s body and the body of a dog were found inside a detached garage, murdered, a bloody crowbar next to the woman’s body, the dog shot in the head, the homeowner and two kids were reported missing.

Then, assuming homeowner, James Lee DiMaggio had killed the children’s mother, Christina Anderson — the woman’s body discovered in the garage — rigged his home to catch on fire, he then kidnapped Anderson’s two children, Hannah age 16 and Ethan age 8, an Amber Alert was issued for both kids, stating DiMaggio as the suspect.

The following day the remains of a child, burned beyond recognition, was found inside DiMaggio’s burned-to-the-ground home. And even this was only the beginning.

After a week-long manhunt, DiMaggio was located in the Idaho wilderness with Hannah Anderson. Based on information from San Diego’s sheriff Bill Gore, DiMaggio was then shot down by the FBI in what appeared to be actions of a firing squad.

Since that 9-1-1 call and the "alleged kidnapping and rescue" of Hannah Anderson, there have been more questions than answers, and many, many lies told.

From the very beginning the public had doubts on the validity of what was being told. As stories continued to morph, more doubts arose. More lies and more inconsistencies in Hannah Anderson's multiple "made-up" stories only brought the question of Hannah and Brett Anderson’s innocence into doubt — at least for the public.

And this story doesn't end here. This story is only beginning…

Who REALLY killed the Andersons?

Who’s behind the cover up? That is the question!

Hannah Anderson’s Granny Britt Left In The Dark, Again

As you probably know, my new book Zip Ties and Lies, The Anderson/DiMaggio Case - Coldhearted - Coldblooded came out about a week ago.

What you might not know is that Channel 10 News, San Diego, interviewed me yesterday about the book. I talked for about half an hour with reporter Jennifer Jenson about the book, and I thought at the time it was a nice chat we had. Then, I saw the newscast last night.

During our “nice chat” I told Jenson that I had communicated with Jennifer Willis, by email, a few times. I even went so far as to tell her some of what those emails from Willis had said. I also told her that I did not get to talk to Hannah’s family, (other than Willis), because they wouldn't talk to me, and that Brett Anderson’s publicist wouldn't allow them to speak with me.

However, none of this was revealed in the newscast.

Jennifer Willis has claimed to be on the “outs” with the family because of statements she already made to reporters, so I’m sure she wouldn't tell Granny Britt that she had ever communicated with me! What I didn't tell the channel 10 reporter, at the time, was that I briefly spoke with Bernice Anderson, and her statement is in the book.

Why the reporter called Granny Britt is beyond me. She already knew I hadn't talked with her! But, nevertheless, Granny was called, saying that I had never contacted the family about my book.

Well, let me tell you this: it wasn't for lack of trying to talk to Hannah and her family!

I also informed Jenson that I had talked to DiMaggio’s sister, other relatives and friends of Jim‘s. Again, none of this was mentioned.

To be fair, the reporter should have called Willis, not Granny, but she didn't. One thing Granny stated was true. A lot of Zip Ties and Lies is speculation, as stated in the book, because the TRUTH has not been told.

However, the emails from Willis are comments that I’m sure she wouldn't want to admit to saying, especially to her sister, Granny Britt. Too late! The contents of those emails, as written, are in the book, and they are very revealing.

Find out what Jennifer Willis had to say. Also find out a tidbit of information that was told to me about Brett Anderson’s past. I’m not talking long-ago past on this one. This was in 2010. Also very revealing!

Head on over to my website for links to order your copy today.

And, if you haven’t seen the newscast, here’s the link to watch the video. It’s nice they introduced this article with my book, Zip Ties and Lies.

What Would YOU Do To Save A Child?

What would you do if you knew of, or suspected, a child was being abused?

Would you look the other way? Would you bury your head in the sand, and say: “It’s not my problem?” Or, would you step up to the plate and call the police to save a child?

If you saw a child in a car alone, parked in a lot or behind a junk yard, what would you do? We all know leaving a child (or an animal) inside a car during the hot summer months, with or without the windows cracked open, isn't something to do. It doesn't take very long for the inside temperature of a car to rise and suck the life right out a child or an animal.

But what about the winter months? The car won't become an inferno of heat, but what about the cold? What about that child or animal inside a car, shivering, unable to get warm?

I was only 3 years old when my father kidnapped me, and I was lucky he didn't leave me in the car during the summer heat (that I can remember), but he did leave me many times in the cold car while he went off to have his fun with some woman he’d picked up. All I had was a thin dress and an even thinner blanket. Certainly nothing that would keep me warm. And I didn't even own a coat.

But the sad thing is: People saw me! Still, not one person ever called the police. Did they not care? Or, did they just not think? Or, did they think someone else would make that call?

All I needed was one person to call the police. That one phone call could have saved me from a life of misery and pain. Six long years of heartache and sorrow and abuse could have been avoided!

But my misery didn't end after the FBI found me. I lived many more years still suffering because I didn't know how to change my life. I didn't know how to accept what had happened, or how to forgive myself for something that wasn't even my fault.

In my book, Bitter Memories: A Memoir of Heartache & Survival, I talk openly about my life. As heartbreaking as it was to write, and as difficult as it is for readers to read, I knew I had to expose what happened to me in order to help other survivors know they are not alone.

I also wrote it so people could learn what it’s like for a child living with abuse, and so everyone would know how important it is to get involved.

Don’t wait for someone else to do what you know is right. Chances are: no one but you will do it!

If you haven’t thought about what you would do, take a few moments to think about it. If you’d seen me in that car, all alone, dirty, cold and scared, would you have called anyone to help me?

If you saw a child with bruises over and over again, or welts and/or cuts from a belt, would you call the police, and say: “There’s a child I suspect is being abused. Please check into it.”

Think about it. Would you?

It’s only with help from strangers that an abused child can be saved. They need YOU! They need everyone who suspects child abuse to care!

YOU could be a lifesaver for that child. YOU could rescue that child from years and years of pain and sadness, from feelings that they are no good, that no one loves them, that they are to blame for the way they are, or for the way they've been treated.

It’s not the child’s fault, but an abused child doesn't know that! Please be the ONE who cares. Be the ONE to step forward and save an innocent child.

Bitter Memories A Memoir of Heartache & Survival by Sue JulsenBitter Memories: A Memoir of Heartache & Survival is the book that started it all. There is no way to “sugarcoat” child abuse, therefore be prepared for strong language and explicit content, because my life was a living Hell.

Drowning in Memories Bitter Memories Series #2 by Sue JulsenDrowning In Memories continues my story, but in this sequel not all memories are bad. Written in two parts, this book also includes a bonus story of a true and special friendship.

Trophy Murders by Sue JulsenTrophy Murders is not only an action-packed fictional crime story, but I take you deeper into the journey of true events after going to live with Uncle Henry (the cop) and his heavy-handed wife, Olivia. A life I wouldn't wish on any kid! NOTE: Only the true parts of this book are included in "Drowning In Memories".

Cutter's Revenge (Bitter Memories, # 3) by Sue Julsen Cutter's Revenge continues my story after my adoption, mixing truth with fiction. While another killer stalks our little town, I write my story the way it could have been if...turning tragedy into a fantastic happy ending, not only for me, but for my devout readers who also wanted their own “taste of revenge."

To everyone who has read my books and told others, and especially to the ones who have learned from my experiences and know they will not sit back while a child is being hurt — many times abused by people who claim to love them — from the bottom of my heart, I thank you.

Scars Run Deep

Scars of Abuse
Reprinted by request

I watch them. Strangers walking down the street, smiling and laughing, and I wonder: What was their life like growing up? Did they have a normal life? Did their parents love them; tell them they were wanted? Were they told they were, and are, cherished?

As children, did they easily fit in with other kids, or go out of their way trying to fit in? Did they succeed, or were they laughed at? In a crowd, did they slink into a corner trying to be invisible? Did they get beatings—or whippings—or just grounded? Were they told how useless they were and they never should have been born?

As adults, do they have self-confidence or are they intimidated easily? Are they afraid to voice an opinion? Afraid of being ridiculed? Afraid of doing something wrong?

While watching these seemingly normal, happy men and women I wonder: Are their smiles are fake? Are they laughing outside, but crying inside?

Most of my life I cried inside while faking a smile. I felt alone. Unloved. Unwanted. I didn't have a mother to confide in…to be my best friend. That dreadful night as my father drove away with me, taking me from the only home I’d ever known; taking me from the people who truly loved me, I had no idea how much my life was about to change—forever.

Starting at age three, my life was filled with sorrow, neglect and abuse—a life no child should ever experience. I was hurt time and again by people who claimed to love me. I grew up in the shadow of fear, uncertainty and hate. For six years I lived life on the run, starving, abused and terrified.

Just when I thought my life couldn't get any worse, Daddy left me alone in the car for days while he went off with a woman. When he finally returned and told me he’d married her, I was devastated! I begged him to leave her, but he slapped me so hard I saw stars.

During the next two years, living with the evil stepmother, I found out just how bad things could get. She did awful, unspeakable things to me. She put the "evil" in stepmother, that's for sure!

All my life I tried to run from myself. I tried to forget the horrible things that had happened, but I couldn't. I’d been left with scars from so many bitter memories, voices in my head, and nightmares. Horrendous nightmares that I felt sure would haunt me for the rest of my life.

For years I always wondered if I’d be a better person today if I’d had a normal life? What is normal anyway?

I wonder how many adult survivors have asked themselves that question? I've asked for as long as I can remember, and I still don’t know. How could I? My life was as far from normal as it could possibly get.

Although unnerving, Bitter Memories is a gripping account of the extremes a child can undergo—and survive. Written from the heart, taking on a life of its own, I relived those memories of heartache, sadness, extreme hunger, and intense fear in hopes of helping other adult survivors find a path toward healing their “hidden” scars. My story deals with explosive topics that former child victims of mental, physical, and sexual violence will understand.

My life was a living hell, one of extreme worst. But it doesn't take extreme to mess up a child’s head. It doesn't take extreme to drive a child beyond the breaking point.

Without professional help to deal with abuse issues, long term effects include fear, anxiety, depression, anger, hostility, inappropriate sexual behavior, poor self esteem, a tendency toward substance abuse, and difficulty with close relationships.

Without help, abused kids continue to experience the trauma. Fear, insecurities, a sense of hopelessness prevents the child from living a happy, fulfilled life. Many times, as I did, victims relive their abuse in recurring nightmares.

Pain of abuse is so intense, yet victims feel they can’t talk to anyone about the abuse. They feel ashamed. They have low self esteem. In a crowd, they feel totally alone. Feelings of despair sets in; they believe the abuse was their fault; they’re being punished for being bad; life isn't worth living. When this hidden pain inside becomes overwhelming, the victim is more likely to attempt suicide.

Child abuse, neglect and/or abduction are national epidemics. Sweeping it under the rug, or choosing to believe it doesn't happen, won’t make it go away, nor does it change statistics: (1) Almost five children die daily from abuse in the United States. (2) Three million abuse reports—physical, emotional, sexual and/or neglect—are made every year. (3) It’s estimated nearly 10 million cases will go unreported. (4) It’s estimated 60 million survivors of childhood sexual abuse live in America today. (5) Girls are three times more likely to be sexually abused than boys, however, boys have a greater risk of emotional neglect and serious injury than girls.

It doesn't matter how abuse is inflicted, it still leaves a lasting impression on the victim. Homes in which women are beaten are at greater risk of having abused children. Children abused, as much as they don’t want to, often subject their own children to abuse.

If you see, or even suspect a child is being abused, report it immediately. It would be better to be wrong, than to be right and do nothing, and you may help save a child from a lifetime of heartache.

All an abused child needs is a chance and an environment full of love and kindness to show them how truly important they are.

THE BITTER MEMORIES SERIES:

1) Bitter Memories: A Memoir of Heartache & Survival, a memoir told from the heart, is the true story of my early life after being kidnapped by my father. I was only three years old. In this heartfelt journey into the world of extreme child abuse, the language is raw, the content is sexually graphic, but it also shows my will to survive. This was my life.

2) Drowning In Memories is written in two parts: Part One, Bitter Tasting Memories continues where Bitter Memories left off, adding in other memories that were left out before. Part Two, After Midnight, dedicated to my big brother, is where you'll find a lot about this wonderful sibling of mine. Also included a short story, One In A Million about a man who helped change my life.

2-A) Trophy Murders (for my fiction fans) based on true events, is an action-packed crime story as I take you further on the journey after going to live with Uncle Henry (the cop) and his heavy-handed wife, Olivia. NOTE: Drowning In Memories is the actual true story, but this book is a good crime fiction read, even for my memoir fans.

3) Cutter's Revenge mixes about five percent truth with a lot of suspenseful fiction. Anyone who’s read the first two books will know truth from fiction instantly. Using many of the same characters, I put closure to years of abuse — my way — gaining personal revenge so much deserved, while my readers also gain a pound of sweet revenge for themselves.

Cutter's Revenge is the last in the Bitter Memories series, but it is also the beginning of a new "revenge" series I'm currently working on.

E-BOOK ON SALE FOR ANOTHER 3 DAYS ONLY!

TROPHY MURDERS, the fictionalized sequel to Bitter Memories is on SALE for another 3 days! Don't miss this opportunity to read an awesome story about a gang of serial killers and the cop who tries to catch these villains, while doing his best to keep his own family secrets hidden.

Bitter Memories: A Memoir of Heartache & Survival is the true story of my early life after being kidnapped by my father, then living a life on the run for six long years. Abused by people who claimed to "love" me, I lived in fear, terrified of what the next day, or even the next minute would bring. Not a book for the squeamish, but this was my life, and my struggles to survive in a world of extreme child abuse. This insightful journey into my childhood of tragedy and sorrow around every corner will take you on a roller coaster ride you will not soon forget.

Drowning In Memories the "true" sequel to Bitter Memories continues my life, showing that all memories are not bad. Written in two parts, with the second part dedicated to my older brother, I also throw in a short story of a man who changed the direction my life was heading after a suicide attempt. This man truly was "One In A Million."

Cutter's Revenge, the last in the Bitter Memories series, brings another serial killer stalking as it ends my story the way I wanted it to end, turning tragedy into a happy ending. I also get my own personal pound of sweet revenge, in a safe way.

Trophy Murders and Cutter's Revenge are loaded with action, suspense, drama, secrets, a love story, and so much more. The fictional crimes are a bit sadistic as they take on a life of their own, with as many twists and turns as a snake on Prozac to keep readers on the edge of the chair until the last pages are turned.

NOTE: The e-books "After Midnight and "One In A Million" are included in "Drowning In Memories" and Cutter's Revenge is also the beginning of a new "revenge" series I'm currently working on.

My newest True Crime book, Zip Ties and Lies: The Anderson/DiMaggio Case — Coldhearted — Coldblooded, explores the "facts" (as we know them to be) surrounding the brutal murders of Tina Anderson, her 8-year-old son Ethan, and their dog Cali.
Discover the lies and the numerous inconsistencies as told by Tina Anderson's daughter Hannah, who claimed to be kidnapped, and the screw ups and cover ups of law enforcement on this case.
Did Hannah and her father Brett Anderson, in an act of premeditation and anger kill Tina and Ethan and the dog, setting up Jim DiMaggio, a longtime family friend, and possibly and innocent man to take the fall?
You decide if Hannah Anderson was actually kidnapped after saying, "Are you ohhkay?" as DiMaggio hits the ground, shot to death by FBI sharpshooters. Is this the response you'd expect from a girl who claimed DiMaggio had killed her mother and brother and then kidnapped her?

The "facts" as told do not add up. The San Diego sheriff Bill Gore, who already has a shady past, appears to run a major cover-up in this case. It also appears that Gore not only jumped to conclusions — without any proof whatsoever — but also appointed himself accuser, judge and jury.
Read Zip Ties and Lies and learn the facts before the first anniversary of this case which is August 3rd (murders of Tina, Ethan and Cali), and August 10th (the apparent murder of Jim DiMaggio).
Read the book, then you decide if Hannah and Brett Anderson are innocent or guilt.
The known FACTS may shock you!

A Little About Me, My Books, and What YOU Can Do To Help

Many of you know my story and why I continue to tell others, but for my new followers who don't know, and haven't read my books yet, and for the ones not sure on what YOU can do to help, this blog post is especially for you.

Bitter Memories A Memoir of Heartache & Survival by Sue Julsen The Beginning: I was kidnapped by my father when I was two years old, then again at 3 yrs. old. After the second kidnapping I lived a life on the run, hungry, abused, and terrified for 6 years before the FBI finally located me.

Although my abuse was extreme, my story is not unique by any means. There are so many children abused daily, and even more adult survivors trying to get through life the best they can. Many survivors relate to my story. In learning what I lived through, they find hope, then they find healing from their own pain and suffering.

You can read all about my early life in Bitter Memories: A Memoir of Heartache & Survival. Contains explicit sexual content and language. I did not sugarcoat any of the abuse!

Trophy Murders by Sue Julsen The original 2nd in the series, Trophy Murders, was written for my fiction fans. In this book, Sarah's abuse, not nearly as intense as in Bitter Memories, never totally ends. Although the true story is exaggerated, this little girl you learned to love, to care deeply about, still manages to survive in a new life with her uncle and his heavy-handed wife. Bringing in a gang of serial killers who wreak havoc, terrorizing the town, until they are finally brought down by Sarah's Uncle Henry, Munday's fearless police chief and his officers, this is an action-packed crime fiction tale that's a great read for my non-fiction fans as well. This book has been renumbered and is now #7 in the series.

Drowning in Memories Bitter Memories Series #2 by Sue JulsenThe new book 2, Drowning In Memories, continues the story as it actually happened. Taking out the fiction, Sarah goes to live with her uncle and his wife, a woman who swears to "beat the meanness" out of Sarah, or die trying. I also finally meet my big brother, so all memories are not "bad" in this book. Written in two parts, with a bonus story about a young man who changed my life, this is the book for my readers who only want the true story, but it is also a great read for my fiction fans. NOTE: After Midnight and One In A Million: A True Story of Friendship are "singles" but they are also included in Drowning In Memories.

Cutter's Revenge (Bitter Memories, # 3) by Sue Julsen Cutter's Revenge (book 3) brings you another serial killer, maybe even more sadistic than the gang of killers in Trophy Murders. Henry's town, along with other nearby towns, once again lives in fear as more and more people seem to vanish without a trace. Sarah reaches a low in her life, then finds...sorry, you'll have to read the book to find out what happens next. But, I will tell you this: Bitter Memories (book 1), was a tear-jerker from Hell, while Cutter's Revenge is a tear-jerker from a little bit of Hell, but a whole lot of Heaven. I wrote this story the way I wanted, or wished, my life had turned out. By bringing to life a serial killer with multiple personalities, I had so much fun getting "safe" revenge toward some who hurt me when I was that scared little kid in Bitter Memories, living in a world of creeps and perverts. If you've read the other books in the series you'll have no trouble knowing the true parts in this book.

As long as child abuse exists I'll continue to share my story, helping survivors, and helping educate others who want to learn the truth about child abuse and what they can do to put an end to our precious children being mistreated.

Anyone who has lived with abuse deserves to find their path toward healing as I did. Telling my story has helped many since it came out in 2010, but there are so many more still out there, suffering daily, ready to give up. They need help!

What can YOU do to help? To reach as many people as possible who are still suffering, I need YOU to share my story. Tell others about my survival, about my books, and about my website so they can also have the opportunity to read my story and to learn.

Child abuse is a national epidemic. I can't do this alone! Please don't be one of those who says, 'Someone will call the police. I don't want to get involved' because it is our children who needs YOU and others like you to help them break away from the ones hurting them. The adult survivors also need YOU. By learning about and reading my story, they will know there is life after abuse, and that what happened to them was NOT their fault! Please help spread the word. Thanks!!

And now you know a little more about me, a few of my books, and what you can do to make a difference in a child's life, and in a survivor's life.
